MANAGEMENT NOTES

Define management? Explain function of management?
Management is process of achieving organization goals through the executions of five basic management planing,organizing,actuating and controlling that utilize financial resource. A manager is the person who carries out the management.Manager is the person who carries all management function. Function refer to all work and jobs which are must be done either by things or by person.
Following are the functions of management.
1- Planning
Planning is the 1st important function of management by management or planning means" thinking in advance" in other words " Thinking before doing is call planning" we can say that preparation for tomorrow or for future days.planning is the 1st function of management so every manager want to engage with it because it provide best ground work for the other function planning. planning refer to six basic questions. Which are as follow(
(a) What to do
(b) Where to do
(c) Who to do
(d) When to do
(e) How to do

2- Organizing
Planning establish the goals and to how they are to be achieved and organizing develop; the structure to reach to the goals. By organization we men to develop the structure achieve better goals.
Organizing established relationship between activities and authority.
(a) It determines ways and method to achieve the goals or organization objectives.
(b) It mobilizes the resources
(c) It determines a sequence of activities that what step should be taken in what sequence.
